Responsibilities
Actively working to support the Service Department in identifying opportunities for coaching and development within your team.
Actively working to communicate and support personnel for further skill development.
- Help communicate technical problems to service staff and assisting Service Advisors with difficult diagnostics
- Looking for gaps in knowledge and productivity, working ongoing with the team to address and improve efficiencies.
- Organizing the shop floor and parking lot to ensure that areas are both safe and effectively accessible.
- Support the supervision of Technicians in repair procedures, which includes reviewing the quality of service repairs performed and helping to ensure dealership standards are met.
- Reviewing all shop comebacks with appropriate Technicians.
- Ensuring that the monthly department targets and gross profit objectives are achieved or surpassed.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in automotive retail, ideally in a Service Advisor role.
- Proven leadership skills.
- High attention to detail / organization / time management.
- High level of self-motivation, accountability for goals / targets.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a management role is an asset.
