Job Title : Mainframe Developer

Location : Toronto, Ontario

Duration : 06 Months

Experience Required : 10 years

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled developer with extensive experience in mainframe technologies and a strong background in various programming languages and systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting applications within our IT infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Mainframe, Cobol, CICS, JCL, Rexx, Clist
Experience with Mainframe DB2 skillset
Knowledge of TIBCO FOCUS and PLI
Basic skills on Linux and Windows operating systems
Familiarity with file transfer methods such as SFTP, NDM, and Filex

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with MS products

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Experience in a diverse and inclusive work environment

Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Develop and maintain mainframe applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
