Center : Queen Street, ON
Pay Range : $17.60-$18.00 per hour
Job Type : Contract Full-Time

What will you be doing?

As a Contract Enhanced Support Worker - Early Childhood Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and children to provide enhanced support to children with special needs. Responsibilities include :

Helping children with various degrees of need in the learning environment.

Planning and implementing programming based on needs of children.

Providing support to other classroom staff.

Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.

Effectively communicating and building a relationship with children and families.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Early Childhood Assistant (ECA)

Must meet province requirements for childcare employment

Current Standard First Aid and infant / child CPR

Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements

1 year of experience in childcare or with children who have diverse learned or developmental delays (preferred)
