Center and Compensation

  • Center : Queen Street, ON
  • Pay Range : $17.60-$18.00 per hour
  • Job Type : Contract Full-Time

What will you be doing?

As a Contract Enhanced Support Worker - Early Childhood Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and children to provide enhanced support to children with special needs. Responsibilities include :

  • Helping children with various degrees of need in the learning environment.
  • Planning and implementing programming based on needs of children.
  • Providing support to other classroom staff.
  • Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
  • Effectively communicating and building a relationship with children and families.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Requirements

  • Early Childhood Assistant (ECA)
  • Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
  • Current Standard First Aid and infant / child CPR
  • Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements
  • 1 year of experience in childcare or with children who have diverse learned or developmental delays (preferred)
