BMO is currently sourcing for a Business Process Analyst to support the TPS line of business. This is a hybrid contract role in Toronto (3 days in office per week).
Role Overview:
The Business Process Analyst will analyze and improve business processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role is crucial for understanding existing workflows, recommending enhancements, and measuring the effectiveness of changes to drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current process models (As-is) and design improved future states (To-be).
- Manage changes to business processes based on design specifications.
- Document and analyze business rules critical for implementing processes.
- Test and execute revised processes to verify desired outcomes are achieved.
- Examine holistic impacts of process changes on people, strategy, and operations.
- Collect and analyze feedback on process performance for future improvements.
- Monitor and measure process effectiveness, identifying inefficiencies in workflows.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in process consulting with a business focus.
- Strong ability to lead workshops and facilitate discussions.
- Proficient in writing procedures and understanding process mapping techniques.
- Experience analyzing information from customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Comprehensive understanding of business process analysis methods and goals.
Ideal Candidate:
- Familiarity with VISIO and other mapping tools would be advantageous.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications is preferred.
- Demonstrated capability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to collaborate actively with diverse stakeholders and team members.
