Adecco is currently seeking a full-time Process Engineer for a long-term contract role with a reputable energy company specializing in synthetic crude production from oil sands.

In this multifaceted position, you will play a key role in supporting deliverables related to equipment strategy development.

• Location : Fort McMurray, AB
• Shifts : Monday - Friday 8 hours / day

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Gather and analyze critical process data and equipment history
• Utilize engineering systems such as PI Data, PI ProcessBook, ALIM, and Intools for technical document searches and data collection
• Develop equipment strategy for fixed equipment using a multi-disciplinary approach, requiring collaboration with operations and other technical disciplines

Requirements and Qualifications :

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Professional Engineering License with APEGA
• Good knowledge of applicable Codes, Standards and Regulatory requirements
• Strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
• Ability to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives
• Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
