Job descriptionTechnology Leadership – Architect, develop, and maintain robust codebases and analytical platforms using advanced programming skills, primarily in Python and SQL, to support systematic investment strategies. Innovation & Optimization – Continuously evaluate and enhance existing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability. Introduce new technologies and best practices to improve research and investment processes. Alpha Research Support – Partner with portfolio managers and researchers to translate investment ideas into production-ready analytics and tools. Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues within and outside the team to identify and resolve business and technology challenges. Act as the main contact point between the quantitative team and the technology team. Communication – Present and explain technical solutions and system architectures to diverse audiences, including Analysts, Portfolio Managers, and IT professionals, with varying levels of technical expertise. You are highly motivated, intellectually curious with effective time management skills. You have a degree in a STEM field (Computer Science / Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related discipline). You can demonstrate experience in strong programming skills (Python required; familiarity with SQL databases preferred). You have proven experience in quantitative analysis, including knowledge of factor models, portfolio construction, and modern portfolio theory. You have strong mathematical modelling skills, you enjoy data analysis, and problem-solving abilities. You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
