What you’ll do :
The Meat Manager will prepare, administer and manage the sales margins, expenses, inventory and spend of the meat department.
Ensure a positive customer experience by offering a friendly greeting and engaging with customers with a high-level of product knowledge to assist with purchase decisions.
- Responsible for the overall operations of the Meat Department
- Ensure adherence to the departmental budget.
- Oversee daily operations in the Meat department to maintain excellent customer experience
- Oversee inventory control, ordering and receiving for the department
- Ensure the Meat department is appropriately merchandised including tagging and pricing accuracy
- Maintain customer standards by tracking, monitoring and following up with customer concerns
- Participate in the recruitment, training, development and performance management of all team members in the department
- Ensure proper preparation of promotions and displays are completed
- Provide strong leadership and support to team members within the department

Who you are :
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and :
- Post-secondary education in related field is an asset
- 3 years experience within a meat department
- Leadership experience is considered an asset
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
