Janitor

What You Will Do :

Maintain cleanliness in an industrial construction setting, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, washing windows, interior walls, and ceiling vents.

Vacuum and sanitize all areas in camp, including main entrances, office areas, utility rooms, gym and recreation rooms, washrooms, and laundry rooms.

Wax and strip floors.

Conduct site inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.

Remove snow from hallways, sidewalks, and driveways as required.

Empty garbage daily and disinfect containers.

Ensure health and safety regulations and quality standards are maintained.

Assist with checking inventories and cleaning supplies.

Perform other related duties as required. What You Bring :

Knowledge of standard commercial janitorial cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment.

Related experience in a camp setting or hotel / institutional environment preferred; commercial cleaning experience is an asset.

Required : CTEC or Defensive Driver training.

Class 5 Driver's License (without restriction) is mandatory.

Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple demands and organize a work schedule.

Strong customer service focus and ability to maintain a positive attitude.

Ability and desire to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with others.

WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) certification.

First Aid certification.

Ideally, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), Basic and Advanced Food Safe training. What You Will Get :
