Job Summary
We are seeking a Program Manager to lead and govern large‑scale initiatives within Payments Modernization , with a primary focus on Real‑Time Rail (RTR), eTransfer , and core payments infrastructure transformation. This role will collaborate with technical and business leaders to ensure strategic alignment, regulatory compliance, and delivery excellence across the program lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Govern RTR and payments modernization efforts, ensuring compliance with industry mandates and organizational goals.Lead intake, prioritization, and execution of RTR and eTransfer enhancement projects.Define and enforce delivery frameworks, processes, and governance standards.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement API specifications, ISO 20022 , and secure, real‑time payment messaging.Consolidate executive‑level program reporting on scope, schedule, budget , and risk metrics.Forecast and manage program‑level resource planning and technical capacity needs.Track benefit realization and adoption metrics to measure modernization success.Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and regulatory bodies.Promote continuous improvement and modern agile delivery methodologies across the program.Required Experience
7+ years of experience in program or project management within financial services.Proven experience delivering complex, multi‑million‑dollar payment programs .Background in RTR, eTransfer , and settlement / reconciliation processes.PMP and CSM certifications strongly preferred.Nice‑to‑Have Experience
Experience engaging with regulatory entities and financial networks.Exposure to ISO 20022 and real‑time financial messaging standards.Required Skills
Strong grasp of API integration and payments architecture .Expertise in Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.Payments infrastructure and RTR implementation.Preferred Skills
Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project .Analytical problem‑solving and cross‑functional leadership.Effective communication with executive stakeholders.Additional Skills
Financial budgeting and resource forecasting.Strategic alignment of delivery with compliance mandates.Change navigation and business case tracking.About GTT
