Role Summary :
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of a variety of accounting and finance functions within NDI.
This position will interact closely with other internal teams and will gain broad exposure to the Finance department’s day-to-day operations.
Scope of Responsibilities :
Accounts Receivable
- Process invoices and credit memos for all product shipments and services.
- Review A / R Aging to ensure it reconciles to the company balance sheet.
- Manage past due accounts by contacting overdue customers to prompt payment.
- Review A / R Aging to ensure it reconciles to the company balance sheet.
Accounts Payable
- Enter AP invoices and process payments for our US Subsidiary.
- Review A / P Aging to ensure it reconciles to the company balance sheet.
Accounting
Assist in various other accounting areas, as determined by the Controller.
Responsibility for the Reception Area & Office Administration
- Work in this role involves leading the day-to-day activities of the reception area.
- Additional duties falling under this category would be special assignments / tasks that may be given by various individuals in the organization throughout the year.
Education and Professional Qualifications :
- Completion of post-secondary accounting program.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with spreadsheet construction and maintenance.
Desired Characteristics / Additional Assets :
- Experience in an R&D / Manufacturing company preferred.
- 1-3 years in an accounting environment would be preferred.
