Expected Compensation : The expected hourly hiring range for this role is $84,000 to $101,000 with a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience while considering internal equity.

As a Web Operations Engineer, you will be responsible to support the availability and performance of all web properties and ensure the availability, performance and security of our web applications and infrastructure for Westland.

Working closely with internal team, service providers, contractors and other vendors, you will focus on day-to-day operational support as well as strategic initiative.

Why we’ll love You :

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash etc.), configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.) and strong understanding of web servers (Nginx, Tomcat, Apache etc.

and app servers. Familiar with monitoring tools and version control systems.

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a WebOps Engineer or in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experiences.

Once here, you'll :

  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and HA web infrastructure.
  • Manage cloud-based services (Azure / AWS, or other clouds)
  • Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
  • Analyze the impact of changes on existing infrastructure and optimize for efficiency.
  • Set up and manage monitoring tools to ensure web application performance and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.
  • Implement security best practices and collaborate with the Security team to resolve open security points.
  • Develop instructions on new features functions for communication and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and optimize infrastructure according to application requirements
