Key Responsibilities :
Create and implement a programming plan that balances national tours, regional acts, local talent, and themed events to align with organizational goals.
Manage a robust entertainment calendar featuring over 100 annual touring acts, house shows, festivals, and special events.
Oversee relationships with agencies and promoters, negotiate contracts, and ensure smooth execution of talent agreements.
Prepare event budgets, track revenue, and manage settlement processes.
Lead and support a team including Production Manager, Artist Relations Coordinator, and event staff or contractors.
Collaborate with F&B and Guest Experience teams to coordinate rider fulfillment, event timing, and audience flow.
Cultivate relationships across the live entertainment ecosystem—artists, managers, promoters, agents, unions, and production vendors.
Monitor ticket sales, audience trends, and demand to optimize programming decisions.
Ensure all events comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Organize cross-departmental planning for major shows and high-profile events.
Experience & Qualifications :
7+ years in programming, booking, touring, or festival management within live entertainment venues.
Strong network of industry contacts and experience handling production logistics.
Hands-on experience opening new venues or repositioning existing ones.
Knowledge of Canadian content (CanCon) and Western Canadian touring circuits.
Familiarity with live performance licensing, union rules, and guild requirements.
