We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Logistics Coordinator for our Transportation Team, stationed at our 61 Balzer Rd, Kitchener, ON . The successful incumbent will be responsible for effectively coordinating drivers, routes, deliveries, maintenance, security and safety, and other transportation related functions to create direct contributions to the organization and to customers’ experiences. Operations
Freight Logistics coordination of material to satisfy contract demand fulfillmentOrganizing internal moves from yard to yard for material movement to ensure feeder yards are filledCoordinate with multiple vendors on daily material movementReporting updates daily to ensure vendors have adequate information to fulfill material movementCommunication with Traders on contract renewals monthlyCommunication with TMM yards on material that needs to be allocated to correct siteCommunication with vendors to ensure we provide daily support for driver allocation for operations coverageHandle load rejection tickets to ensure delivery is made in MayerAct as a liaison between vendors and dispatch team for flow of informationProvide customers with professional, timely and proactive supportEnsure optimal equipment utilization and maintenanceCollaborating with peers to drive improvements in performance, analyzing key metricsAllocating work and resources to effectively meet on-time delivery requirementsMonitor and ensure fleet operations are compliant with regulations and lawsHealth & Safety
