Position : National Payroll Manager
Location : Concord, ON
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000 per year (depending on experience)
Industry : CPG / Payroll / HR / Commercial
Employment Term : Fulltime / Permanent
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of payroll, including day-to-day operations, process and workflow standardization, and management.
- Manage all payroll activities across Canada utilizing Ceeidian Dayforce HCM & ADP WFN
- Preparing reports by compiling summaries of company earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability payments, and non-taxable wages.
- Preparing year-end employee tax slips or forms and submitting government filings to meet deadlines
- Identifying any areas of improvement within the payroll process and leading the implementation of new payroll processes and systems
- Leading the payroll team of administrators, which may include delegating, reviewing work, training, and coaching.
- Maintain the confidentiality of employee records by adhering to legal and ethical standards.
- Ensure a high level of professionalism to safeguard employee privacy.
- Performs all other duties.
Qualifications & Experience :
- 5+ years of payroll management experience
- Knowledge of payroll legislation of the Provincial & Federal Tax Regulations
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is preferred.
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce HCM & ADP WFN
- Advanced understanding and experience in accounting principles, practices, and general ledgers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, mathematical, and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable to changing work demands and deadlines.
