Full-Time Seasonal (Monday – Friday, 38.75 hours / week)
June 15 – June 28 (preparation and training), June 29- September 4 (camp)
Compensation : $19.00 / hour

Reporting to the summer camp director, you will plan different cooking, art and technology-based experiences for campers. You will provide camp counsellors with the tools, resources, and support_activate to deliver high-quality sport-based experiences and will assist them to create an environment of camaraderie and respect among campers.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare a variety of cooking and creative experiences for the campers that foster their sense of creativity
- Submit weekly program plans and schedules to camp director
- Plan, coordinate and execute camp wide theme days and special events
- Ensure all program schedules and activities (including theme days and special events) are communicated to the summer camp team on a regular basis
- Adhere to the program structure and guidelines as outlined, and accesses program resources and support from the camp director
- Fully and enthusiastically participate in all camp activities, while being a positive role model and reflecting the values of the organization
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, families, partners, and other SPC employees
- Ensure family inquiries and concerns are shared with the camp director to ensure prompt, professional follow‑up
- Attend and fully participate in all employee orientation, training and meetings as outlined

Minimum of 18 years oldPost-Secondary_global enrolment in a relevant field is an asset (i.e. CYW, OCT, Recreation and Leisure, Recreation Leadership)2 years experience in a recreational day camp setting (asset)Experience planning creative activities (asset)Valid up to date Standard First Aid with CPR C (prior to the start of contract)Holds a Hive Five Principles of Healthy Child Development Certification (asset)What We Offer
