The Role : Lead Front End Developer

The Team : The Ratings Division is looking to hire a Sr. Full‑Stack Developer to lead hands‑on development and provide design‑pattern insight. The S&P Global structured finance value‑stream technology team in the Ratings Division consists of geographically diversified software engineers responsible for developing scalable solutions by working directly with the product development team. Responsibilities

• Develop web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other open‑source Java frameworks, RESTful web services.
• Enterprise‑level integrations using distributed streaming platform, REST, OKTA, etc.
• Front‑end development using React, Angular, and MFE architectures.
• Database development on PostgreSQL, Oracle, and integrations with application services.
• Application containerization and deployments through CI / CD pipelines and AWS services such as S3, EKS, EC2, etc.
• Write SQL queries and understand data models; Databricks knowledge is a plus.
• Deploy applications using containers.
• Maintain infrastructure knowledge and CI / CD exposure.
• Observe, monitor, and troubleshoot using Splunk, ELK, Jaeger, etc.
• Prior experience with Camunda workflow tool or other open‑source workflow tools.

Qualifications

Location : Toronto (Hybrid 2–3 days onsite)

Compensation / Benefits Information : 90k – 135k CAD / year base compensation. Final base salary is based on geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
