Property Accountant North Vancouver
Our client, a growing and dynamic Property Management company, is looking for a Property Accountant to join their North Vancouver team.
Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for supporting full-cycle accounting functions and ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for a portfolio of properties.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and accruals.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and other management reports.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with the property management team to resolve accounting-related issues.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Enrolled in the CPA program (completion of foundational courses preferred).
- 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in property management.
- Experience with property management software such as Spectra or Yardi is an asset.
- Proficiency in Excel with strong attention to detail.

Salary Range : $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
