You'll Do :

  • Five-plus years of experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Broad maintenance experience in a plywood or industrial environment
  • Prior proven experience as a supervisor and leader
  • Demonstrative safety leadership with knowledge of safety procedures
  • Experienced in the use of preventative maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtime.
  • Experienced in troubleshooting methods to meet uptime, production volume, and quality targets.
  • Can effectively use training resources to maximize technical skills.
  • Very good team-building and motivational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of accounting and financial metrics for a mill operation
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office

You have :

  • A valid trade certificate or bachelor’s degree in applied science or engineering.
  • Preferred 3 to 5 years of experience in a plywood or heavy industrial setting.
  • Strong leadership, planning, budgeting, and problem-solving skills. Consistently shows a strong commitment to safety, actively promoting its importance.
  • Knowledge of computer software and applications, with preference given to candidates with Maximo and Microsoft Suite experience.
  • Great organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
  • A desire to progress, learn, grow, and succeed.

Compensation Package :

  • The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The yearly salary range is between $92,300 and $106,200.
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays.
