Reports to : Supervisor, Facilities Management

Hours :   hours per week

Wage range :  $ $ per hour (Start rate is non negotiable.)

Shift :  Rotating 24 hour shifts

Status :  Permanent Full Time

Closing Date :  March 2, 2026

Position Summary

The Shift Building Operator is an integral part of the Plant Operations and Maintenance department and maintains responsibility for inspecting the facility / mechanical room.

Duties

• Performing preventative maintenance to ensure the continuous operation of equipment / machinery
• Diagnosing problems with equipment / machinery
• Providing feedback to ensure new construction and / or modification will not impact existing systems
• Repairing equipment / machinery
• Contributing to the efficient operation of the department
