OVERVIEW

The ProjectCoordinator is a key member of our project management officeworking closely with the Corning businesses developers datascientists analysts and domain experts to deploy IT solutions tomeet customer requirements.

Your work is crucial to our globaldigital transformation efforts because it helps deliver highquality solutions that create value for Corning.

The successfulcandidate will be responsible for their own project tasks whileleveraging agile practices where possible. Interaction with crossfunctional teams collaboration communication and attention todetail will be critical.

Agile practiceknowledge is crucial to this role including working as part of amultifunctional agile team contributing to project plans impeccablefinancial tracking and managing the testing process(es) within theproject.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Asan IT Project Coordinator your main responsibilities will be toassist the Project Manager. This includes understanding projectgoals deadlines priorities resource administration financialmanagement and assistance in preparing presentations and generalcoordination / administrative tasks which may include some meetingscheduling.

• The project coordinatorreports to the IT Project Management Office and has a dotted lineto the IT Project Manager to which the projects areassigned.
• The PM ultimately owns all responsibilitiesfor the project; the Project Coordinator is to providesupport.
• Manage financial tracker for forecasting andspending.
• Update related systems utilized for projectspend.
• Monitor and report on cross projectdependencies.
• Assist project managers with thedevelopment of work plans.
• Monitor document repositoryto keep key information up to date.
• Ensure qualitytimeliness and results meet Project and Portfolio Managementexpectations.
• Lead and facilitate quality inspections ofkey project documentation and artifacts.
• Facilitateperformance testing discovery sessions for assigned projects todetermine any performance testing requirements.
• Manageany impact of project changes to testing schedule andprocess.
• Coordinate project activities across multiplegroups including vendor partners functional teams technical teamsbusiness representatives and IT leadership.
• Facilitateand provide guidance to project and business resources for testscript development.
• Report on quality and testing statusfor the duration of the project.
• Development of TestPlan / Test Approach and appropriate success metrics for each testingcycle of the project.
• Responsible for defect managementand coordination by collaborating with the right teams to analyzedefects to determine root cause and the appropriate path toresolution.

REQUIRED Education& Experience :

• Bachelors degree in ComputerScience IT IS or equivalent area of technical study or Associatesdegree plus related experience.
• 0 years of experience asan IT project team member.

PREFERREDCertification :

• PMI PMP Certification in projectmanagement methodologies is desired but not required. Pleaseinclude PMI certification # and active dates on resume ifapplicable.
• Certification in Agile / Scrum methodologiesis desired but not required.

• Advanced computer skills Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Teams

PREFERREDSkills :

• Experience with Planview
• QualityManagement application experience Micro Focus Quality Centerknowledge and experience.
• Power BI Report Creationdesired but other platforms may be required.
• Knowledgeof Jira Confluence and other associated Agile tools.
• Knowledge and experience applying automated testing tools andprocesses.
