Data Governance - Informatica / Power BI Developer

This hybrid role combines ETL development using Informatica with data visualization and reporting using Power BI. The developer will design, implement, and maintain data integration workflows and create interactive dashboards to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

ETL Development Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter or IICS.

Create and optimize data mappings, workflows, and sessions for efficient data movement.

Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources into data warehouses.

Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.

Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot performance issues, and resolve errors.

Document technical specifications, data mappings, and workflows.

Power BI Development Responsibilities

Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.

Build and optimize data models in Power BI, including relationships, hierarchies, and row‑level security.

Implement advanced DAX calculations for KPIs, time intelligence, and complex measures.

Connect Power BI to various data sources (SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure SQL, Databricks).

Optimize report performance and ensure scalability.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
