Join us with an open mind on the future of work!Role : Vice President, Supply Chain & Support OperationsStatus : Regular, Full TimeReports to : Chief Operating OfficerLocation : Birchmount (Markham)Summary : The Vice President (VP) Supply Chain and Support Operations will lead a team of five direct reports and approximately 35 indirect reports across various functions.
The VP will lead operational excellence to achieve financial and non-financial goals and inspire unionized and non-unionized staff at all levels to deliver best-in-class performance for our internal customers, and ultimately, our external customers.
They will oversee daily operations and strategic investments in systems, people, and processes across Enercare’s corporate, franchised, and affiliate / partner supply chain networks.
With over 25 facilities from Quebec to BC, Enercare’s Supply Chain is able to deliver equipment same day / next day to its own Forward Staging Locations (FSLs) and deliver parts to its customers’ homes within as little as four hours.
Collaborating with Enercare’s Senior Leadership team, the VP will participate in enterprise-wide projects, strategic planning, and play a pivotal role in business transformation, sales growth, and overall profitability .
This role will be appealing to Supply Chain leaders that have experience leading transformational change and implementing best practice solutions, making a significant impact within a growing and evolving industry.
The role will have full responsibility for the Supply Chain function, including Parts and Equipment Fulfillment, Distribution, Warehousing, Procurement, Warranty Management, Promotional Card Fulfillment, Indirect Procurement, Facilities, and Fleet.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the supply chain strategy for equipment, parts, and consumables across residential, commercial, and builder channels.
Lead the entire supply chain process for Enercare, including forecasting, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and reverse logistics.
Identify areas of growth and develop innovative solutions to improve business operations.Lead the corporate supply chain operation and manage the relationships with Enercare’s 3PLs.
Support and enable the functional leaders on all supply chain operations to achieve best in class performance and sustainable improvement, including Warehousing & Distribution, Forecasting and Procurement, Warranty Management, and Reverse Logistics.
Support and enable leadership for the Facilities and Fleet teams who manage the Enercare facility operations, including building systems, safety, efficiency, compliance, and space planning, as well as Fleet vehicle operations for the enterprise.
Responsible for leading budgeting, vendor coordination, with a strong focus on sustainability, emergency preparedness, and security oversight.
Responsible for leadership oversight of the promotional card fulfillment process, supporting customer satisfaction and efficiency though technology and continuous improvement.
Supports process review and improvement to meet the changing needs of Enercare’s customers and overall business.Drive all analyses to meaningful conclusions.
Gain stakeholder alignment on key decisions and clearly define action plans once a decision is made.Provide operational direction to directors and managers, ensuring the achievement of financial objectives, and effective day-to-day operations.
Leverage in-depth understanding of the customer journey to champion innovation that will improve Supply Chain efficiencies across the corporate, franchised, partner- channel.
Explore and develop ways for teams within the supply chain operation to work together more effectively and efficiently.Coach and develop directors and managers to attain optimum performance and productivity in unionized and non-unionized environments.
Ensure communication and teamwork to accomplish department objectives.Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to identify and resolve operational issues and constraints ensuring business success and growth.
Serve as a role model and advocate for company values and culture.Qualifications : 10-15 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and / or Operations, coupled with several years in a senior management role.
5-10 years of experience leading multi-level teams and functions, with the ability to inspire, motivate and advocate through change.
Demonstrated experience working and operating in direct-to-consumer and B2B channels.Proven ability to understand and translate business strategies, plans, and issues into effective and achievable action plans, related to supply chain and operations.
Proven experience negotiating company contracts with suppliers / partners.Strong financial and business acumen and in-depth financial analysis knowledge and experience.
Inspiring leadership with a strong executive presence, excellent decision-making skills, and the ability to build strong relationships on a foundation of trust, loyalty, and authenticity.
Establish and implement strategic initiatives that facilitate growth and transformation. Ability to strategically problem solve;
work well under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Self-driven and ability to operate highly independently.

Previous experience with driving Supply Chain ESG initiativesBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related.
