Office Administrator - Health Care
Oneof our Health Care clients located inthe Port Perry area is in search of a fulltimeOffice Administrator who will be in charge of personnel to join their team onsite.
Thisposition is 1of 4 senior level roles reporting directly to theGeneral Manager. The ideal candidate would have worked in theindustry prior and / or have an educational background in the fieldof Health Care.
The shift isMonday to Friday 8am 4pm .
JobDescription
- Provideassistance to clients staff and the Director / GeneralManager
- Supervisethe Activity and Officestaff
- Responsiblefor dealing with all staffing issues including recruiting payrolladministration (Company uses ADP for processing payrolls) benefitadministration supervise and maintain records on staff trainingassist other managers with staff evaluations assist in preparingand reviewing staff schedules and be the contact person for staffcomplaints and resolving issues between managers andstaff
- OverseeAdministrativebudget
- Performpayroll tasks and dataentry
- Scheduleand conduct tours for potential residents and assist the Directorof Care with paperwork related toadmissions
- Assistthe Director of Care in preparation of appropriate residentpaperwork prior to Resident moveins
- Maintainmonthly residence census for accountingpurposes
- Interfacewith the Company s Human Resource Lawyer whenrequired
Requirements
- Priorexperience in the Health Care industry specifically Retirement Homeexperience is a definiteasset
- Excellentwritten verbal and oral communicationskills
- Previousknowledge / experience working on payroll and / or accounting
- Workingknowledge with the Employment Standards Act (ESA) andother Government regulations dealing with employment Employee sManual Departmental Manuals Retirement Homes Act and ORCAStandards
- Workingknowledge of Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)Sanitation Code Workplace Hazardous Material Information System(WHIMIS) Occupation Health and Safety and Public HeathInspections.
- Proficiencywith Microsoft Office suite of products including but not limitedto Office 265 Excel PowerPoint andWord
- Handsonexperience in the Health Care industry or relatededucation
