You'll own the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement, well-being, and payroll operations — while ensuring compliance and supporting a collaborative, values-based culture.What You'll Do : - Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate experience.- Act as a trusted partner on employee relations, performance, and policy guidance.- Maintain accurate HR records, support payroll and compliance, and assist with union matters.- Champion employee engagement and wellness initiatives that strengthen culture and retention.- Use HR metrics and analytics to improve processes and inform strategic decisions.What You Bring : - 3-4+ years of HR Generalist experience within a unionized non-profit environment (required).- Post-secondary degree in HR, Psychology, or related discipline.- Exceptional communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.- Professional, proactive, and adaptable — thrives in a dynamic, people-first setting.- On-site availability 5 days per week.Why Join?You'll be part of a compassionate, high-impact team making a tangible difference every day.
