Senior Learning Advisor
Job Description
We are working with a Federal Government client seeking a Senior Learning Advisor to join their team on a hybrid, 1-year contract (potential extension by up to 2 additional years)
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Identify the actual situation, the preferred situation and the gap between the two situations;
- Identify the skills and abilities acquired and the skills and abilities to be developed;
- Discover and analyze the causes and challenges of the observed variances;
- Propose a FOIT and Guardian training solutions that takes into account C&P organizational complexities;
- Provide a variety of FOIT and Guardian training options;
- Develop processes to diagnose the current situation within C&P;
- Develop tools for data collection;
- Analyze the data collected;
- Draft a report with apprenticeship recommendations;
- Propose a Guardian training solution that takes into account accessibility issues identified either by the Project Authority or those that were identified in any other assessments;
- Propose FOIT program modernization solutions that takes into account accessibility issues; identified either by the Project Authority or those that were identified in any other assessments;
- Develop a learning strategy based on a learning needs analysis;
- Define the learning strategy (objectives, methods, approaches and activities);
- Identify FOIT and Guardian training solutions aligned to the needs of C&P and Indigenous communities / organizations;
- Identify and establish a plan of action in terms of resources, costs and timeframes required for FOIT and Guardian training; and
- Identify a learning assessment plan.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Security : Reliability
- Undergraduate degree with a specialization in one of the following areas : education, adult learning, distance learning or e-learning
- At least seven (7) years of experience as a Senior Learning Advisor
- Experience working for an indigenous client.
- Experience working for a client with services related to the conservation of natural resources or Law Enforcement.
