We are in search of an experienced Accountant to become a part of our dynamic team located in Woodbridge, Ontario. This role involves a variety of accounting tasks and it offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As an Accountant, you will be tasked with handling both accounts payable and receivable, generating and verifying invoices, and utilizing Quickbooks software.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct accounts payable activities, ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner
- Manage accounts receivable, including timely and accurate invoice generation
- Verify the accuracy of invoices, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
- Use Quickbooks software for efficient management of accounting tasks
- Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for business process management
- Engage in accounting functions in accordance with industry standards and practices
- Apply ADP - Financial Services knowledge to manage financial transactions and reports
- Utilize Cl Programming for customizing and managing accounting operations
- Conduct auditing tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting
- Maintain and manage balance sheet account, ensuring accurate financial statements.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
- Ability to perform various Accounting Functions
- Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
- Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Ability to carry out Auditing tasks
- Familiarity with Balance Sheet Account management
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software
