Accountant
Our client is searching for an Accountant, that will focus on LEMs management to join their growing team. This role will be responsible for all full cycle accounting duties for the company.
A successful candidate will thrive in a busy and growing company environment. This role reports directly to the CFO.
Your success will be defined by your ability to :
- Take control of daily labour, equipment, materials, and supplies routine
- Create and set up templates for new projects which will include training field staff on how to complete properly
- Supervise the inventory control system which will include training warehouse staff on proper documentation
- Assist with the payroll functions, mainly reviewing for accuracy
- Assist the CFO with new system implementation
- Assist the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams with daily and monthly routines
- Assist the CFO with daily and monthly routines, such as GST and PST reports, as well as posting journal entries
Your strengths include :
- Experience with QuickBooks or a similar system is an asset
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Oil and Gas or Construction experience related to Labour, Equipment, Materials, and Supplies would be an asset
