Reporting into the controller the incumbent will be responsible for the full accounting cycle related to their designated business units.
- Ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
- Prepare and present monthly and annual financial statements.
- Provide regular financial analysis to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform monthly and yearend closing tasks.
- Participate in various continuous improvement projects to optimize processes and reduce financial reporting cycle times.
- Develop and prepare various valueadded financial analyses.
- Ensure compliance with tax obligations by preparing and submitting tax returns in accordance with applicable tax legislation.
- Work closely with the companys various partners to understand their businesses help them understand their financial drivers and challenge their assumptions.
- Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary information and resolve accounting issues.
- Handle audit requests by collaborating with external auditors providing the necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
