In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and resolving technical issues while maintaining high levels of team support satisfaction. This will include diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware problems, resolving network issues, and educating users on ways to optimize and efficiently use IT resources. This is an opportunity to bring your energy and innovative spirit to our exciting business and grow with our team! Success in your role will be exemplified with strong technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others in order to troubleshoot and provide solutions to fellow colleagues. This position is a hybrid role, providing flexibility to work remotely approximately 2 days a week.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAct as a first point of contact for employeesTroubleshoot hardware and software problemsProvide user support and help resolve their technical issuesLog issues and resolutions, track trendsInstall and configure software and hardware equipmentMonitor system performance and address any problems or issuesManage system backups and recovery plansDocument procedures, operations, and issues for future referenceTest and evaluate new technology for possible implementationCoordinate with vendors for the repair of system malfunction as requiredManage the purchasing process from end-to-end for all IT equipment and softwareYOUR QUALIFICATIONSBS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field2 - 3 years of experience in an IT Support Analyst, IT Service Desk or similar roleHands-on experience with Windows / Mac OS environments, mobile devicesStrong problem-solving skills to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficientlyStrong customer service skills to handle user requests professionally and empathetically, ensuring customer satisfactionKnowledge of ITIL and other IT service management frameworks, as well as experience with incident management systems, is beneficialCertification in Microsoft, Cisco or similar technologies considered an assetProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Windows and Mac operating systemsDiversity CommitmentAt BaAM, our commitment to diversity and inclusion is helping us to create not only a great place to work, but also an environment where our employees, our customers and our communities around the world can reach their goals and connect with each other.
