In late 2021, KingSett launched their Multifamily Mortgage Group, focused on CMHC apartment lending, and since then they have grown rapidly and have originated over $5 billion of loans. The team currently averages over $2 billion of originations annually, with substantial capacity to do more. The growth of this team is a key priority for KingSett’s senior leaders as they look to expand KingSett’s best-in-class platform.
KingSett has built a best-in-class platform by leveraging technology and lean business processes. This has set them apart in their ability to assist the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) in achieving their mandate to help Canadians access affordable housing options.
Overall, KingSett has a team of 160+ employees across their mortgage lending and equity investments channels, spread across their three (3) offices located in Toronto, Vancouver, & Montreal.
KingSett is looking for an experienced, driven CMHC mortgage originator, who is eager to join a fast growing, collaborative team with uncapped upside. The successful candidate will be responsible to originate $500 million+ of direct CMHC loans annually in primary and secondary markets across Canada.
Primary responsibilities :
- Originate $500 million+ of direct CMHC loans annually in primary and secondary markets across Canada.
- Assist the underwriting team with loan assessment, structuring, and due diligence for closing.
- Ensure all loans conform to KingSett and CMHC’s policies and procedures.
- Attend various networking events inside and outside of normal working hours.
- Maintain a detailed pipeline.
