Job descriptionDiploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Industrial Mechanics or Electromechanics, College Diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent recognized expertise Experience is an asset but not mandatory Strong interest in industrial maintenance and predictive technologies Ability to use Microsoft Office software and comfort with IT tools Certified by the ICML (International Council for Machinery Lubrication) or willing to obtain and maintain certification within a maximum of 3 months : MLT I (“Machinery Lubricant Technician” Level 1) and MLA II (“Machine Lubricant Analyst” Level 2) Written and verbal communication skills in French Written and verbal communication skills in English (an asset) Meets requirements regarding deadlines and data reliability when preparing various reports Ability to understand, analyze, diagnose complex mechanical systems, provide solution options, conduct investigations, and assist clients in resolving issues Proactive in addressing client challenges and responding to all needs; the successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in the best interest of the client

Under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor and as an integral part of a maintenance specialists team, the technician will be responsible for analyzing laboratory results, supporting clients by proposing corrective actions, assisting the sales team in the selection of products and services, supporting administrative processes, and delivering in-company or public group training sessions. In addition, the individual will be expected to develop their knowledge to help expand the range of our services in industrial settings.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Participate in oil analysis programs (implementation, data analysis, preparation of oil analysis reports, client equipment sampling, equipment modification)
- Take part in client equipment sampling
- Train and assist clients on the Spartakus™ platform
- Support the sales team in promoting reliability services and products
- Assist the administrative team, from sample receipt to invoicing
- Conduct audits of lubricant analysis programs
- Develop and deliver client-specific training as needed
- Support the vibration analysis technicians team and share diagnostics
- Perform ultrasound and mechanical thermography assignments at various client sites
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL
WORK LOCATION
Kirkland, QC. This position requires travel, primarily within Quebec, as well as in Eastern Canada and the United States. You must be available to travel up to 50% of your working time.
