Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Cool:Gen (CA Gen) Developer with strong Rapide expertise to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in legacy system modernization, application development, and support within enterprise environments. This is a time-sensitive requirement, and we are looking for someone who can quickly integrate and contribute.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Design, develop, maintain, and support applications using Cool:Gen (CA Gen)
. Work with Rapide to enhance and maintain existing systems
. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
. Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging
. Support system integration, deployment, and production issues
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts and QA
. Document technical specifications and processes
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Strong hands-on experience with Cool:Gen (CA Gen) development
. Proven experience working with Rapide
. Solid understanding of mainframe and/or distributed environment
. Familiarity with system integration and legacy modernization
. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
. Experience in government systems
. Prior experience in production support environments

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications.
