Overview
This is a remote position. VIP Corporate Travel Agents will book new air, hotel, rail and car reservations for our business travel clients who fall in the category of VIP. They will also carry out changes to existing reservations, such as name changes, date and itinerary modifications. They take care to protect sensitive and private information and ensure that reservations are made within the confines of the Client’s travel policy. They deliver good, consistent customer service and will also contribute to Encore’s revenue and profitability by offering relevant complementary products and services. For example, every air reservation request including 1 night away from the travellers’ home airport should include an offer to reserve a hotel within their travel policy. VIP agents are extremely attentive and anticipate the needs of their travelers. They learn traveler preferences and needs and are sure to respect them in all reservations. With a proactive, can-do attitude and exceptional problem-solving skills, the VIP Corporate Travel Agent is dedicated to exceeding expectations, going above and beyond to ensure every client’s needs are met seamlessly.
Responsibilities
International travel reservations and modifications
Deep understanding of loyalty programs
Is a resource to their colleagues and proactively answers questions and shares tips and tricks and their applications
Considered for dedicated or complex accounts
Completes document verification and able to complete a pre-check process for each of their travelers.
Advises on entry requirements and acts as a resource to their clients providing meaningful and helpful insight on their travel plans.

Education & Experience
10+ years of travel industry experience
College Diploma (minimum)
Travel School (nice to have)
University Degree (nice to have)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Developed soft skills which help to control the interaction and bring the traveler to a solution in the fewest exchanges possible
Interpersonal skills, effective communication with colleagues and other teams, eloquent and effective, persuasive writing
Developed and demonstrated customer orientation
Advanced soft skills that allow you to build relationships with our clients
Advanced knowledge of the Travel Industry, its rules and processes
Assumes mistakes and works to correct them

Able to prioritize workload effectively to meet Service Level Agreements in all client interactions.
