Job descriptioneffectuer l’entretien préventif et correctif de tous les types de postes radio, de radars et de dispositifs de traitement de données, ainsi que d’équipement cryptographique, terminal, audio et vidéo effectuer des inspections, des essais de rendement et des réglages sur du matériel tactique fixe et mobile de télécommunications réparer, réviser et entretenir l’équipement de télécommunications effectuer des installations et des vérifications de réception effectuer un déploiement dans le cadre de la capacité de soutien de la l’Aviation royale canadienne en tant que membre du 8eEscadron de transmissions et contrôle (Air), de l’Escadron de radar de contrôle tactique, du Régiment des transmissions interarmées des Forces canadiennes ou de toutes les unités du COMFOSCAN posséder la citoyenneté canadienne ou être résident permanent vivant au Canada; avoir 18 ans (17 ans avec le consentement parental) ou plus, sauf pour : la Première réserve, pour laquelle vous devez être âgé de 16 ans (avec le consentement parental) ou plus et être inscrit comme étudiant à temps plein; avoir terminé une 10eannée ou un 4e secondaire au Québec (certains emplois exigent un niveau de scolarité plus élevé).

Une carrière dans les Forces armées canadiennes (FAC) en tant que technicien / technicienne en systèmes d’information et de télécommunications aérospatiales vous permet d’effectuer, de superviser et de diriger la réparation et l’entretien de tous les types de systèmes d’information et de télécommunications de l’Aviation royale canadienne et des forces interarmées.

Pour pouvoir vous enrôler dans les FAC, vous devez :
les programmes d’études subventionnées, pour lesquels vous devez être âgé de 16 ans (avec le consentement parental) ou plus;
Études requises
Ce poste exige que les candidats aient terminé au minimum la 10e année ou le 4e secondaire au Québec, conformément aux normes provinciales, notamment : mathématiques appliquées de 10e année (Mathématiques 416 ou Culture, société et technique 4)Il est possible que les études à l’étranger soient reconnues.
Plan d’enrôlement direct des officiers / officières
Les candidats idéaux seront déjà titulaires d’un diplôme. Si vous détenez un diplôme universitaire ou collégial, les FAC détermineront si votre programme d’études correspond aux critères du poste et, une fois l’instruction de base réussie, peuvent vous placer directement dans un programme de formation en cours d’emploi adapté. L’instruction de base est requise avant toute affectation.
