Infrastructure Engineer

AllSTEM Connections has a need for an Infrastructure Engineer in Houston, TX. This position is located in Houston, TX. This is a 12-month contract with possible extensions. This person must be local to the area as this team requires an in-person interview.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. The Company is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.

Key Responsibilities :

• Applies technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope, with a focus on improving the data / systems running at scale; and ensures end to end monitoring of applications.
• Resolves most nuances and determines appropriate escalation path.
• Executes conventional approaches to build or break down technical problems.
• Drives the daily activities supporting the standard capacity process applications.
• Partners with application and infrastructure teams to identify potential capacity risks and govern remediation statuses.
• Considers upstream / downstream data / systems or technical implications.
• Accountable for making significant decisions for a project consisting of multiple technologies and applications.
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
• Ability to consultatively articulate complex technical findings to more experienced management in clear, concise, understandable terms
