Job descriptionPrevious experience interviewing and assessing potential hires for technology positions. Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates. Proficiency in using software and online databases to connect with and reach out to potential candidates. Including scheduling interviews emailing, messaging, scheduling, and tracking / reporting. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally. Ability to speak knowledgeably about the company and answer any technical questions a potential hire may have. Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills. Proficiency working within the Google Platform and Paylocity (or related ATS). Bachelor’s degree in related technical and / or human resources field preferred or equivalent experience. At least three years of related recruiting experience required, with prior experience in technical roles preferred. Experience recruiting for federal contracts / clients a plus The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $90,000 annually. SFI maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations. This role offers a flexible work arrangement, primarily remote with the understanding that occasional on-site presence may be required to support client needs. Relationship building is key!
Duties / Responsibilities
- Represents SFI with potential candidates.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled, meets with Project Managers to discuss hiring requirements and candidate status reporting.
- Builds relationships with placement agencies to assist with the recruitment process.
- Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical / industry community and marketplace.
- Attends job fairs and industry conferences; runs company booth at job fairs
- Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.
- Drafts recruitment advertisements; posts and / or places ads in the most effective online sources for open positions.
- Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.
- Conducts preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge interest, personality, and salary requirements.
- Provides feedback to management about details regarding applications and connects qualified candidates with hiring managers by scheduling interviews.
- Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
- Works 3 days in our Bethesda, MD office.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
