Job description

Staffmax is assisting our client in hiring a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator for a 6-month contract. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the seamless movement of goods, materials, and information throughout the supply chain. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone with strong coordination skills and a background in logistics or distribution.

Contract Length: 6 Months
Location: Vancouver, BC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries

  • Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure logistics efficiency

  • Track and monitor shipments, addressing any delays or issues that arise

  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records in logistics systems and databases

  • Prepare shipping documents, customs forms, and related paperwork

  • Support production and warehouse teams by aligning logistics with operational needs

  • Identify opportunities to improve cost-effectiveness and process efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination

  • Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software

  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
