This role involves generating leads, nurturing prospects, and helping to forge long-term partnerships. If you're passionate about technology, sales, and making an impact at a high-growth software company, we'd love to hear from you!Our main office is located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, however we welcome applicants for this position who are interested in fully remote, hybrid, or in-office working arrangements.ResponsibilitiesLead Generation : Identify potential clients through targeted outbound prospecting, research, and market analysis.Initial Outreach : Establish first contact with prospects via email, phone calls, and social media to generate interest and schedule introductory meetings.Qualification : Assess the needs of potential clients, qualify leads, and determine the fit for further engagement.Collaboration : Work closely with Account Managers to hand off qualified leads and ensure a seamless transition for deeper relationship building and deal progression.Database Management : Maintain accurate records of leads and client interactions in CRM systems (HubSpot / Salesforce).Market Insight : Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to fine-tune outreach strategies and enhance the prospecting process.Feedback Loop : Provide insights and feedback to marketing and product teams to improve messaging and align solutions with market demands.QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.1-3 years of experience in a sale, business development, or related role, ideally within the software or technology sector.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Fluent in English.Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and HubSpot.Goal-oriented and proactive, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Interest in sustainable solutions and knowledge of forestry or natural resource management is a plus.If you align with our values and mission but don't meet every qualification, please still apply!
