About The Role
The Supply Chain Data Analyst plays a critical role in supporting warehouse, procurement, and operations teams by transforming raw data into actionable insights. This role focuses on analyzing inventory, procurement, and order fulfillment data, and then translating that information into clear reports and communications for relevant departments. While primarily focused on reporting and analytics, the Supply Chain Data Analyst must also have a comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, from procurement to shipping, receiving, and inventory controls, in order to provide coverage and assistance in these areas during peak periods.
This is a full-time on-site role in our Burnaby office.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from warehouse, procurement, and order management systems.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory levels, purchasing activity, and order fulfillment performance. Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports (Power BI, Excel).
- Communicate insights and trends to Procurement, Operations, Sales, and Finance to support decision-making.
- Monitor and track KPIs such as stock turnover, backorder rates, supplier lead times, and fulfillment accuracy.
- Support procurement activities by reviewing supplier performance, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain data accuracy within ERP / warehouse systems (e.g., item cards, vendor information, min / max thresholds).
- Assist with demand forecasting and inventory planning to reduce stockouts and overstock situations.
- Provide recommendations to improve warehouse efficiency, procurement processes, and overall supply chain performance.
- Assist in warehouse functions, including procurement support, shipping & receiving, and inventory control during high-volume periods or as required.
- Act as a key liaison between the warehouse team and other departments, ensuring data-driven communication.
- Support ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests as needed.
