Role: Java Full Stack Developer
Location: Montreal, Quebec- (Mini 3-4 days WFO)

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both back-end and front-end development, with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Java full stack development experience, including Java 17 and/or Java 21
  • Proficiency with Spring Boot framework
  • Experience with Angular (preferably version 17)
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with Spring Security JWT or OAuth2
  • Experience with cloud-based databases like Neo4J and Postgres
  • Experience in microservice implementation and debugging distributed applications in a Linux environment
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins
  • Proficiency in version control systems like Git/Gerrit
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK Stack
  • Familiarity with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and Spinnaker
  • Experience with Linux and Unix systems
  • Knowledge of unit test frameworks such as Junit and Mockito
  • Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, and Cypress
  • Proficiency in IDEs like IntelliJ IDEA (Backend) and Visual Studio Code (Frontend)
  • Experience with Free Open-Source Software and license handling
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and Agile software development environments

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Angular frameworks
  • Troubleshoot and provide application development support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools
