Job Description:

• Full time availability Monday to Friday during business hours
• Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone and email
• Respond to inquiries, pricing requests and process orders
• Maintain and develop relationships with customers
• Identify and investigate customer requirements and provide solutions to meet their needs
• Provide timely quotations and delivery dates for projects and jobs
• Entering customer orders into the company software and picking items
• Learn and maintain a knowledge base of all product lines
• Offer product knowledge to assist customers in choosing appropriate products
• Expedite supplier purchase orders, assist with purchasing and inventory control
• Various other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• A minimum of three to five years of inside sales or customer service experience
• Experience in the electrical industry
• Knowledge of electrical products and their applications
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Professional, responsible, punctual and reliable
• Ability to multitask with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with computer systems including Excel and Word
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to take direction and solve problems
• Post-secondary education required
