ROLE SUMMARY :
In a general way, the professor's teaching load shall include preparation of course outline; preparation of classes, labs and fieldwork; teaching classes, adaptation; support and supervision of students; preparation, invigilation and correction of examinations; revision of corrections at the students’ request and other activities when required.
DUTIES :
The College is seeking hourly paid professors to join a dynamic team to teach credited courses ONSITE within Continuing Education in the Winter of 2025.
- All courses will be taught from Monday to Friday, from 8 : 30 a.m. to 11 : 30 a.m., and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
420-T22-HR Windows Client – Integrative Project (45 hours)
January 14th, 2025 to January 24th, 2025)
This course is intended to test the students’ knowledge on Windows 10. Students will be required to complete a practical assessment of Windows 10 in a variety of different configuration modes. Students will put into practice the skills learned from course 201697-1 and 201697-2. It will be the students’ responsibility to work independently throughout this assessment.

This course is intended to provide the students with the skills and knowledge necessary to implement a core Windows Server 2012 Infrastructure into an existing enterprise environment. This course focuses on real skills for real jobs and prepares students to prove mastery of core services such as Active Directory and networking services, Managing Active Directory Domain Services Objects, Automating Active Directory Domain Services Administration, Implementing Local Storage, Implementing File and Print Services, Implementing Group Policy, Implementing Server Virtualization with Hyper-V.

This course validates the skills and knowledge necessary to administer a Windows Server 2012 Infrastructure in an enterprise environment. This course focuses on real skills for real jobs and prepares students to prove mastery of core services such as user and group management, network access, and data security, Implementing a Group Policy Infrastructure, Managing User and Service Accounts, Maintaining Active Directory Domain Services, Configuring and Troubleshooting DNS, Configuring and Troubleshooting Remote Access, Installing, Configuring, and Troubleshooting the Network Policy Server Role, Optimizing File Services, Increasing File System Security, Implementing Update Management.

This course will help validate the skills and knowledge necessary to administer a Windows Server 2012 Infrastructure in an enterprise environment. This course focuses on real skills for real jobs and prepares students to prove mastery of Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services such as advanced configuring tasks necessary to deploy, manage, and maintain a Windows Server 2012 infrastructure. It covers such skills as fault tolerance, certificate services, and identity federation, Implementing Advanced Network Services, Implementing Advanced File Services, Implementing Dynamic Access Control, Implementing Network Load Balancing, Implementing Failover Clustering, Implementing Disaster Recovery, Implementing Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), Implementing Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS).

420-U34-HR Designing and Implementing a Server Infrastructure (75 hours)
Apr. 30th, 2025 to May 21st, 2025)
This course covers the knowledge and skills needed to provide an enterprise solution that supports manual and automated server installations in a physical and virtual environment including the supporting file and storage services. Students will also learn the skills necessary to provide enterprise networking solutions such as DHCP, IPAM, VPN, and DirectAccess. You will also learn the skills necessary to design and implement a forest and domain infrastructure including multi domains / forest and branch office scenarios.
420-U35-HR Implementing an Advanced Server Infrastructure (75 hours)
May 22nd, 2025 to June 11th, 2025)
This course is design to deliver the knowledge and skills to plan and implement a highly available, secure infrastructure with focus on Active Directory Federation Service (AD FS), public key infrastructure (PKI), and Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD RMS). Students will also learn the skills needed to plan and deploy virtual machines including self-service and automation of virtual machine deployments as well as planning and implementing a monitoring strategy that includes Microsoft System Center 2012 R2-Operations ManagerR2.
