Venor is proud to partner with our client, a globally recognized ocean technology company in their search for a Senior Electrical Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing printed circuit boards (PCBs) for electronic systems, ensuring functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities :
- PCB Design and Development : Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) for electronic systems, ensuring they meet functionality, reliability, and manufacturability standards.
- Circuit Simulation : Conduct circuit simulations using software tools to analyze and optimize circuit performance, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
- Wiring and Cable Design : Design wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for electrical systems, considering factors such as signal integrity, thermal management, and EMC / EMI compliance.
- System Integration : Develop system architectures and integrate electrical components into larger systems, ensuring overall functionality, performance, and safety requirements.
- Project Leadership : Lead electrical engineering projects from concept to completion, supporting the project management office in developing work breakdown structures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, and product designers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other components.
- Manufacturing and Testing : Direct activities to ensure manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
- Testing and Validation : Develop test plans and procedures, conduct testing, and perform validation to ensure the reliability and performance of electrical systems.
- Design Review : Establish design criteria for projects using required codes and standards. Participate in the design review process and review and approve engineering deliverables.
- Technical Assistance : Provide technical assistance to the Production department during the manufacturing process and work with customers to understand project requirements and provide operational support in the field.
- Mentorship : Mentor Electrical Engineers and Technologists.
