Job Summary :
Responsible for maximizing sales targets within an assigned territory. Worked in a team sales setting to support field sales in managing all sales activities, including prospecting, quoting, purchasing, vendor management, expediting, lead follow-up, and performing data analysis for trends at the account and product level.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities :
- Handles sales quotas for assigned territory. Ensures customers’ needs and expectations regarding their orders are met. Follows through with requests to completion or delegates to internal partners.
- Provides product and pricing information to customers via phone or email. Obtains and prepares bid documents.
- Contributes to the maintenance of lasting relationships with customers through knowledgeable communication and proactive resolution of questions or issues.
- Provides support to field-based staff to support productivity. Manages all aspects of the order cycle as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction including prospecting, quoting, purchasing, vendor management, expediting, and lead follow-up.
- Analyzes sales trends at the account and product level within assigned territory. Creates and executes action plans with the extended sales team.
- Promotes the organization’s product line and services and supports marketing campaigns.
- Executes the complete sales process from engaging potential clients to following up to ensure order satisfaction. Provides updates and feedback, and escalates issues appropriately to the sales and leadership teams.
- Negotiates and closes sales within current pricing, discount structure, and average pricing goals to meet or exceed sales goals for assigned territory.
