iAGAM offers a stimulating career with opportunities for growth and continuous learning. We are currently seeking a Director, Private Debt to join our team and help us achieve our mission.
Would you consider a new career as a director in private debt with the largest finance team in Quebec City? If you are an experienced private investment manager, you have the opportunity to join a high-performing, multidisciplinary team and help implement an evolving mandate.
Note : Depending on experience, the selected candidate may be placed at the assistant director or director level.
Your main duties :
- Manage part of the private debt portfolio
- Develop and maintain contacts with institutional investors, securities brokers, and other capital market stakeholders
- Solicit, analyze, and negotiate funding conditions for new private funding opportunities
- Collaborate with legal, lending, and other transaction stakeholders
- Meet with issuing companies and their representatives
- Analyze and monitor investment documentation
- Assess the financial health of borrowers
- Develop and utilize referral and credit analysis systems
- Ensure compliance with guarantees
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the private debt team’s strategy
- Mentor team members
- Coordinate complex projects related to private debt activities
