You'll work closely with leaders across the business, providing support across a broad range of Human Resources functions while contributing to the people practices, programs, and initiatives that will support future growth.
For Human Resources professionals who enjoy variety, collaboration, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, this role offers exposure to all facets of human resources within a growing organization and the chance to contribute to a project that will shape Saskatchewan's mining industry for years to come.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders on recruitment strategies, workforce planning, and talent acquisition activities
  • Provide practical Human Resources guidance and recommendations on employee relations, policy interpretation, and workplace matters
  • Conduct workplace investigations and support the timely resolution of employee concerns
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and communication of Human Resources policies, programs, and procedures
  • Provide guidance to support compliance with employment legislation and company policies
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, compensation changes, leaves, and offboarding
  • Lead assigned Human Resources projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Analyze HR data and prepare reports to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to strengthen HR programs and practices
  • Prepare employment agreements, letters, and other confidential documentation that supports key employee lifecycle activities
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees regarding benefit plans, Human Resources programs, and policies
  • Provide guidance to employees and leaders on disability management, leaves of absence, and workplace accommodation matters

Qualifications

Education
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
  • 5 to 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist or advisor capacity
Experience providing Human Resources guidance to leaders across a range of employee relations matters
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes for salaried and hourly positions
  • Experience in mining, construction, industrial, engineering, or other operational environments is considered an asset
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of Saskatchewan employment legislation, Human Resources practices, and employment standards
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build credibility and effective working relationships with leaders and employees at all levels of the organization
  • Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to provide practical HR advice and recommendations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Human Resources information systems
  • Commitment to professionalism, collaboration, and high-quality work
  • Ability to assess complex situations and provide practical, risk-based recommendations

Why Join Paladin Canada?

  • Competitive compensation and annual incentive program
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health and dental coverage, a health spending account, and an RRSP matching program
  • Opportunity to grow your career with a growing company as we advance a major Saskatchewan mining project
  • Collaborative, supportive, and safety-focused culture where your contributions are valued
  • Exposure to a broad range of Human Resources activities with opportunities to make a meaningful impact
  • Contribute to the development of one of Saskatchewan's future mining operations

Across our operations, we are focused on sustainability, safety and stakeholder engagement. We have a clear commitment to delivering long-term value and making a meaningful contribution to global decarbonisation efforts through the supply of uranium for nuclear energy.
