Construction Safety Officer (Afternoon Shift)
Port Moody, BC | Full-Time | 12 : 00 PM – 8 : 00 PM
Join a respected, family‑run general contractor and play a key role in a two‑year high‑rise development currently in the excavation phase. We’re looking for a committed Construction Safety Officer who takes pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and well‑coordinated job sites. If you thrive in the field, communicate clearly, and enjoy being part of a supportive team, this opportunity is worth exploring.
About the Role
As the on‑site CSO, you’ll help ensure all safety protocols are followed during the excavation stage while supporting light labor tasks as needed. You’ll work closely with the Site Supervisor and project team to maintain a safe, compliant, and productive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safety protocols are followed throughout the excavation phase
- Support minimal on‑site labor tasks when required
- Monitor site conditions and collaborate with the team to maintain a safe work environment
- Report safety concerns, incidents, and progress to the Site Supervisor
- Promote a positive safety culture through communication and leadership
