QUALIFICATIONS :
Education, Training And Experience
Minimum requirement of a Master's Degree in Occupational Health, Business Administration or relevant health care discipline plus a minimum of fifteen (15) years recent, related experience in progressively more complex senior management / leadership roles in a large multi-union environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills And Abilities
- Sound working knowledge of planning concepts related to budgetary, staffing, occupational health and safety and strategic initiatives.
- Sound knowledge of contemporary and best practices in injury prevention and occupational health and wellness.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to adapt readily to rapid and changing environments and the ability to adapt with initiative.
- Ability to interact professionally with various levels of staff both internally and externally.
- In-depth understanding of health services and operations. Physical ability to perform the duties of the job.
