Job descriptionJourneyperson Heavy Equipment Certification (Interprovincial Red Seal preferred) Demonstrated troubleshooting experience specifically on CAT equipment Strong interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset Experience with Power Systems and / or Marine equipment is an asset. Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset Previous gas engine and power generation experience wouldbe considered an asset Important Details Please be advised the successful candidate for thisposition will reside in Sechelt / Sunshine Coast A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol fitness testing) and wear a respiratorwhere applicable Drevers Abstract (5 year) Union Membership : You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. Job Description : Major Job Functions
- Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs in a field environment
- Interface with customers products and sales support
- Working with the Supervisor on various tasks
- Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
- Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
- Various related duties as required
- Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement
